AZEOTROPIC AND AZEOTROPE-LIKE COMPOSITION AND CLEANING AGENT

PURPOSE:To obtain a cleaning agent having greatly cleaning power and excellent drying rate free from destruction of the ozone layer. CONSTITUTION:A cleaning agent comprises an azeotropic and azeotrope-like composition composed of 3-methyl-3-methoxybutyl acetate and octamethyltrisiloxane as active ingredients. Both the compounds contain no halogen, are chemically stable and provides a cleaning agent having excellent drying properties because of being the azeotropic and azeotrope-like composition.
