<p>PURPOSE:To provide a paper feed guide mechanism in a paper feed device by which a paper sheet can be guided while reforming the curl of the right and left extreme end part of a paper sheet bent upward or downward. CONSTITUTION:The paper feed device is provided with a paper feed base on which paper sheets are loaded, a paper feed roller 2 by which the paper sheets on the paper feed base are fed one by one, and a resist roller by which the fed paper sheet is transported to an image forming process part at predetermined timing. A paper feed guide 6 is provided between the paper feed roller 2 and the resist roller and arranged capably of being displaced on the curl side of the paper sheet, and formed into an actual trapezoidal shape having the wider base at least than the maximum width of the used maximum sized paper sheet. The paper feed guide 6 is arranged in the direction so that the base 10 is positioned on the resist roller side of the transport passage R.</p> |
