PURPOSE:To smoothly perform transmission operation and immediately shift to acceleration condition after the transmission operation without requiring throttle operation and clutch operation, also without bringing about irregular combustion. CONSTITUTION:A Shift switch 11 is operated for detecting transmission operation. An ignition control means 12 is operated based on input from the shift switch 11 for intermittently igniting an engine at the time of transmission. A gear position sensor 13 is provided for sensing a gear position which is then detected by the ignition control means 12. The interval of intermittent ignition by means of the ignition control means 12 is decreased in the case that a gear ratio of the transmission is high, while it is increased as the gear ratio is lowered. The intermittent ignition ratio is increased in the case that the gear ratio of the transmission is high, while it is decreased as the gear ratio is lowered. |
