PURPOSE:To secure continuity of the theft preventing function of a car and enhance the certainty of theft judgement. CONSTITUTION:A meter node 10, a front node 20, etc., each having a theft judging function are tied through a communication line 2 for multiple communications. The meter node 10 performs control of the transition to the alert mode for theft prevention, and also performs theft judging to control the operation of a horn 14 and a starter cut relay 17. The front node 20 transmits to another node an opening/closing signal of a bonnet switch 24 in compliance with opening and closing of the bonnet, and also performs by itself theft judgment to control lighting-up of a warning lamp 25. Even in case the connection of either node with the communication line is shut, the remaining node(s) execute theft judgement, and the nodes 10, 20,... pass a theft judgement according to the majority law of the nodes in between. |
