PURPOSE:To provide a retractor for a safety belt which does not require any E-ring for prevention of opening of the side wall and mounting of a pawl. CONSTITUTION:A flange 20 having a detention surface 21 mating with the outer side face of a pawl 17 is formed at one end of a penetrative shaft 19, and therefore, the pawl 17 can be mounted by this detention surface 21 of the flange 20, and also it is possible to prevent opening of the side wall 1a on the pawl side. This allows omitting such component as E-ring otherwise required and favors the management of components and saving the man-hours for works. |
