PURPOSE:To provide a packing device excellent in protecting function for its contents and easy to perform packing operation. CONSTITUTION:Each of cushioning materials 1 and 2 is provided with a recess part for receiving each end of an oblong object 9 to be packed, the cushioning materials 1 and 2 are further provided with upper recess parts 3 and 4 respectively for receiving the ends of a plate-like top panel 5 in contact with the object 9 and an engaging part 7 is provided extending from one side of the exposed part of the top panel 5 between the cushion ing materials 1 and 2 in the form of a tab and in such a manner as to make the engaging part turnable oppositely to the object 9. |
