PURPOSE:To well mold a disk by preventing molding strain and the generation of a cloud. CONSTITUTION:Since a suction passage 2c reaching the outer peripheral part of a stamper 3 is formed to the movable template 2 supporting the stamper 3 and a vacuum pump 7 is connected to the suction passage 2c through a valve 6, the outer peripheral part of the stamper 3 is sucked toward the movable template 2 through the suction passage 2c and the stamper 3 is brought into close contact with the upper surface of the movable side template 2 to make it possible to provide smoothness to the stamper 3. By this constitution, the heat conductivity of the stamper 3 is uniformized to make it possible to mold a disk substrate S without generating strain and the partial release of the disk substrate S from the stamper caused by an air gap is prevented to eliminate the generation of a cloud.
