PURPOSE:To obtain a multi-color heat sensitive recording material which is superior in achromatic properties and gives low temperature black color developing image, by a method wherein two layers of heat sensitive color development layers having color development different from each other are provided on a substrate and an achromatic substance against a low temperature color development layer is arranged between both layers. CONSTITUTION:A high temperature heat sensitive color developmemt layer containing at least one kind of an electron receptive compound selected out of compounds represented by a formula I (R1 represents 8-30C alkyl group and alkenyl group), a formula II (R2 represents 6-28C alkyl group), a formula III (R3 represents 8-30C alkyl group, Z represents an oxygen atom and m represents 0, 1, 2), a formula IV (R4 represents 8-30C alkyl group and R5 represents hydrogen atom) and a formula V (R6 represents 8-30C alkyl group) and a coloration agent is provided on a substrate. In addition to the above, an intermediate layer containing an achromatic agent such as alcohol is formed and a low temperature heat sensitive color development layer containing at least one kind of the compound selected out of the formulas I-V and a coloration agent is laminated on the intermediate layer further. |
