PURPOSE: To make a tampon, having a soluble capsure presenting a means to put an absorbent into the vagina, quickly dissoluble by composing the capsule with a cylindrical base member with plural openings and a half spherical cap. CONSTITUTION: The sanitary tampon 10 is equipped with an absorbent 12 made of plural absorptive cones having a pull lace in which the absorbent 12 is put in a smooth and half rigid capsule 20 made of a material such as a water soluble gelatin by absorbing the body temperature, which would make easier to put the absorbent 12 into the vagina. The capsule 20 has a cylindrical base member 22, a half spherical cap member 24 and an opening end 34 having a dimension slightly larger than the outer of the base member 22 fit to the end of the base member 22. In respective member 22, 24, plural number of openings 36, 38 are formed at random so that the capsule 20 quickly dissolves. |
