PURPOSE:To accurately transmit information, by providing a controller automatically changing the display time inn accordance with the dot number expressing one kind of characters. on an electric information board displaying at least two kinds of text information. CONSTITUTION:When displaying at least two kinds of letter information 1a, 1b alternately on an electric information board constituted of electric bulbs or light emitting diodes, the dot number (the number of bulbs indicating characters) is counted in a controller 5 to display text by judging the response time corresponding to the previously preset time. In other words, a shorter display time is given for a legible character 1a having less dot numbers and a longer display time is given to an illegible character 1b having much dot numbers. In this way, information is given accurately to drivers. |
