PURPOSE: To exert an extremely high closing holding force even when a door is closed by a slight force, to simplify constitution, and to maintain high reliability even when repeated use is carried out. CONSTITUTION: A microbial decontamination device comprises a body part A, consisting of a decontamination chamber 22, an antibacterial fluid flow passage 18, and a decontamination agent mixing chamber-10; and a door P. A lock mechanism D to mechanically lock and close a door and realize liquidtight sealing is provided with a latch pin 58, a hook member 54 having an engaging surface 56 engaged with the latch pin and rotatably mounted on a cam member 50, and a drive shaft 40 to move the hook member 54 in a direction, in which the hook member is engaged with and disengaged from the latch pin 58, by rotating the cam member 50. The cam member 50 is rotated to an overcenter lock position and assures engagement between the hook member 54 and the latch pin 58. |
