PURPOSE:To obtain the subject preventing agent useful for checking food poisoning in food manufacturing and processing worlds, comprising a plant material or a substance prepared by fractionating or powdering the plant material alone or a combination of the plant materials or its extracted solution with water, an organic solvent or their mixed solvent. CONSTITUTION:This preventing agent comprises a plant material such as flower, seed, fruit, pericarp, root, stem, leaf, bark, tree, etc., or a substance prepared by fractionating or powdering the plant material alone or a combination of the plant materials or its extracted solution with water (e.g. purified water or a diluted solution of a salt, mineral water, etc.), an organic solvent (e.g. ethyl alcohol or ethyl ether) or their mixed solvent. |
