PURPOSE:To independently send unique response messages by any one of the users of master unit and slave units by sending the response messages for the specific slave machine exclusive use to telephone lines when the specific slave machine is designated by a direct in-line function. CONSTITUTION:When a calling signal is sent from a telephone line 1 to a slave unit C1 with the direct in-line automatic answering function and the transfer function set, an incoming call detection circuit 2 detect it and sends a signal to a CPU3. The CPU3 sends the response messages of the specific slave unit to the telephone line 1. The other party of the telephone conversation speaks requirements according to the request of the pertinent message M1. The CPU3 accepts the messages from the other party, and controls a recording circuit (not shown in figures) to record the messages. When the recording of the messages is completed, the CPU3 confirms that there is the direct in-line automatic answering recording to the slave unit C1, that the transfer function of the slave unit C1 is set, and controls a dialler 8 by calling a transfer destination data T1 from a transfer destination memory 12, then sends the telephone number of the transmission destination through a speach network 5 and line opening/ closing switch 4 to a telephone line 1. |
