The present invention relates to a rear wheel set for a motor vehicle. The wheel set is characterised in that the wheel support (3) is connected to the arm (1) by means (7) for adjusting their relative position, making it possible to adjust the extent to which the wheel is clamped before tightening at least two fastening screws, at least one of which is substantially vertical, passing through substantially horizontal bearing surfaces (5) of the wheel support (3) and of the arm (1) respectively.
