PURPOSE:To secure approach of a corner square part of a U-shaped metallic part of one structure body, and prevent leakage of a radio wave from a corner square part of a door by arranging the periodic structure bodies so as to correspond respectively to two sides adjacent mutually to the door, arranging a connecting member extendedly in one end part of s, and bringing this into contact with the end part of the other periodic structure body. CONSTITUTION:A high frequency heating device is composed of a door 1, a peripheral end part annular frame 2 arranged along the peripheral end part on an inside surface of the door 1 and periodic structure bodies 3 and 4. The door 1 is formed in a rectangular shape according to a rectangular opening part on a front surface of a heating chamber of an unillustrated device main body, and an angle metal fitting 5 is fixed respectively to both the lower outsides, and this is made openable and closable in an upward opening system by a shaft 7 of a bracket 6 projected from the main body. The annular frame 2 is formed in the same way as before, and the periodic structure bodies 3 and 4 are fixed to an L-shaped bending part corresponding to respective sides of the door 1. Here, the structure bodies 3 and 4 are formed almost in the same shape, and these are composed of fixing pieces 3a and 4a, rising pieces 3b and 4b, the U shaped metallic parts 3c and 4c ranging to an overall length in the lengthwise direction and the slit parts 3d and 4d, and a piece 3h between the structure bodies 3 and 4 is brought into electrical contact with a tongue piece 4g of the structure body 4.
