Device for orienting the pumping arm (1) of a tank of the type whose control is provided by a jack (2) whose piston rod (3) articulates on a frame (4) rendered integral with the free end of the said arm, characterised in that the shaft (5) of the jack rod can move in openings (6) of the said frame, means being provided for locking the said shaft (5) during the extension of the said jack (2). The locking of the articulation shaft (5) of the jack rod is provided by a detachable shaft (9) rendered integral with an arm (7) having a bore (8) inside of which one end of the said shaft (5) can extend. <IMAGE>
