PURPOSE:To provide an AV network where the information on the terminal in an AV communication and a using channel, etc., can be recognized at each AV terminal. CONSTITUTION:In the communication system of an AV network where plural AV terminals 1 communicating video/audio signals and an AV communication control terminal 2 controlling the communication of the AV terminal 1 are connected by an AV communication line 3 for transmitting video/audio signals and a LAN 4 for transmitting a signal setting the communication of the video/ audio signal between AV terminals, the communication status of the video/audio signal of each AV terminal 1 is stored in the AV communication control terminal 2 and storage data is transmitted to all the AV terminals 1 through the AV communication line 3. In each AV terminal 1, the request of a useless AV communication is reduced because whether an opposite terminal is in an AV communication or not or whether the free channel of the AV communication exists or not can be recognized. |
