摘要 PURPOSE:To calculate Poisson's ratio and at the same time obtain its measuring device by measuring the change in specific volume depending on the temperature and pressure of a macromolecular material placed in an oven body whose temperature can be controlled and at the same time the change in sound wave propagation time. CONSTITUTION:A macromolecular material 4 is placed in an oven body 1 whose temperature can be controlled and detected by a heater 2 and a temperature sensor and then is pressurized by a piston 6 of a pressurization device. Data are displayed on a display via a temperature detection part and a pressurization force measuring part. The amount of displacement of the change in the specific volume of the material 4 is measured by the scale set to the piston 6 and then is displayed on the display. A transmission side medium mounting member 17 of a sound wave transfer medium means and a member 18 at a reception side are mounted on the side of a piston 6 and the opposite side with the material 4 filled to the center of an oven hole 16 between them. Sound wave transfer media 19 and 20 are fitted through the axis hole part of the members 17 and 18. Each tip surface of media 19 and 20 is subjected to applied pressure of the piston 6. The output of an oscillator 23 is input from an oscillation element 22 and then is input to an oscilloscope 29 via a vibration-reception element 26 and then time is measured.
