PURPOSE:To efficiently detect the fault of a network and to rationalize monitoring by judging whether the fault is minor or serious on the second information where the fault is occurring according to the length of occurrence continuing time. CONSTITUTION:A management information extraction means 14 and a state information processing means 15 do not operate mutually synchronizing. The management information extraction means 14 preserves fault information and restoration information in a state information preservation means 19 as a data file. On the other hand, the state information processing means 15 judges the importance of the fault by analyzing the timewise continuity of information of the state information preservation means 19, and only the serious fault is displayed on a display device 3D. Thus, it is not necessary to force a maintenance person to deal with the temporary fault which is not required for special work due to the instantaneous voltage drop of system power, etc., and the concentration of monitor on the serious fault, which is originally to be dealt with, is required. |
