PURPOSE:To obtain a synthesizing method for a bromine complexing agent wherein a cost of an electrolyte, used for a zinc-bromine battery, is reduced and further various operations for obtaining this electrolyte can be simplified. CONSTITUTION:As a method for synthesizing a bromine complexing agent in an electrolyte for a zinc-bromine battery, reaction of N-methylpyrrolidine and ethyl bromine, which are materials, is performed with ion exchange water serving as a solvent, so that the electrolyte containing N-methyl N- ethylpyrrolidinium bromide, produced according to a progress of reaction, as the bromine complexing agent is obtained. Ratio of the N-methylpyrrolidine to ethyl bromide is set to 1:1.02 mole ratio, and concentration of the N- methylpyrrolidine is set to 3mol/l or more. |
