PURPOSE:To obtain a head mount stereoscopic vision presenting display device in which the load of the operator is relieved by devising the display device such that a left eye use picture and a right eye use picture are set to the same pattern as required to present a plane picture not causing a stereoscopic vision. CONSTITUTION:An observation object 1 is picked up by a right eye use camera 2 and a left eye use camera 3. An angle caused by the cameras 2, 3 with respect to the object 1 produces a parallax and a right eye use picture and a left eye use picture are respectively displayed on a right eye use monitor 4 and a left eye use monitor 5. The two patterns having the parallax are sensed stereoscopically in a brain of an observer when the observer watches the patterns simultaneously or alternately timewise. Moreover, a video signal changeover device 6 displays either of the left and right eye pictures onto two monitors 4, 5 simultaneously to display of a not stereoscopic vision but plane picture 7. Thus, the stereoscopic vision is presented only when it is required for a job. Even when a sense of displeasure is caused during the stereoscopic vision observation, the plane picture is immediately displayed and then the sense of displeasure is eliminated. |
