<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the access frequency for writing/reading of a VRAM by recognizing visually the areas excluding the designated one without requiring an image memory of large capacity. CONSTITUTION:The color image data are inputted to a VRAM 13 by an external input device 11 and then displayed on a monitor 14. A line memory 16 is connected to the VRAM 13 and stores the color image data on the area designating position. Then an area (color image area) Al in an area designated by initialization is turned into a color image through non-inversion by an inverting/non-inverting means 12 added between the device 11 and the VRAM 13. Meanwhile an area (inverted color image area) A5 out of the designated area is turned into a color image through inversion. Furthermore the color images are mutually driven between the VRAM 13 and the memory 16 by the means 12. Then an area in a designated area is turned into a color image through non-inversion and an area out of the designated area is turned into a color image through inversion respectively in the VRAM 13.</p> |
