PURPOSE:To improve ticket vending efficiency by releaving error as much as possible even when there is this error in the mark of an amount concerning an automatic ticket vending machine for the betting ticket of horse racing or the like. CONSTITUTION:This device is provided with a reading part 2 for reading an betting card 1 so as to designate (mark) the desired purchase amount by combining a numerical value and a unit amount, detection part 6 for detecting the number of marks in the unit amount of the betting card 1, comparison part 7 for comparing the number of marked amounts with the number of marked numerical values when the plural unit amounts are marked, and calculation part 8 for calculating the respective amounts by combining the respective marked unit amounts with all the numerical values when these numbers are coincident. When a decision part 9 decides that the minimum amount of the respective calculated amount is singly existent within the amount of inserted money counted by a counting part 3, a ticket vending processing part 4 is instructed to vend the betting ticket with certain combination corresponding to the minimum amount and in the other case, an error processing part 5 is started. |
