PURPOSE:To discriminate whether a call made by a caller to a mobile radio slave set is a local talking or a toll talking and how much a talking distance is by providing a speech area discrimination section discrimination stepwise the difference of area between the caller and a destination. CONSTITUTION:A talking area discrimination section 13 is provided the telephone set, in which the difference of areas between a caller and a destination is discrimination in the case of making a call from a mobile radio slave set 24 to a mobile radio slave set 25, and after the discrimination, an inter-area level notice section 23 reports the result of discrimination to the caller. That is, when the radio slave set 24 dials the destination and sends a call setup event to a gate control station 14 via a radio control station 15, a zone resident management station 11 refers to a resident zone information table in a resident zone information section 12 to retrieve a resident zone area of the destination radio slave set 25. Then the talking area discrimination section 13 calculates the difference from the area of the caller. For example, a level message such as level 1 for an area difference of local talking, level 2 for a short distance of toll talking and level 3 for a long distance of toll talking is reported to the caller. |
