PURPOSE:To provide a natural language interactive processor for understanding the contents of an interaction by recognizing a pair of speeches consisting of a question sentence and an answer sentence. CONSTITUTION:A syntax analyzing part 101 converts a speech to a character- string, executes a syntax analysis by referring to grammar 201 and a dictionary 202, and converts it to a format for showing the contents of the speech, based on information related to a case structure. In the case the speech is a question sentence, a semantic expression generating part 102 extracts the main subject and a question point, and executes extraction of a premise of the question sentence by using them. The format for showing the contents of the question sentence, and the main subject and the question point, and the premise of the question sentence are inputted as a semantic expression to a speech pair recognizing part 103. The speech pair recognizing part 103 recognizes an answer type of an answer sentence by referring to a concept structure of an event, and script-like knowledge related to a task corresponding to a scene in a script- like knowledge base 203 from the semantic expression of the question sentence, and a vocabulary item in the dictionary 202 of a word for showing the event contained on the question sentence. |
