PURPOSE:To control the frequency of a mobile sation by following up a carrier wave sent from a base station having a frequency reference to a mobile station in the system which transmits a signal sent from the base station through a satellite repeater station to the mobile station and transmits the signal sent from the mobile station through the satellite repeater station to the base station. CONSTITUTION:The carrier wave of the channel is stopped in the soundless state of a base station 10. Then, there is no frequency reference in a mobile station 60 and an automatic frequency control circuit 62 of the mobile station 60 is fixed. In the base station 10, the frequency of the signal sent from the mobile station 60 is monitored. As the result of the monitor, when the deviation is detected in the frequency of the mobile station 60, the carrier wave is temporarily sent to the pertinent channel even in the soundless state and a automatic frequency control 62 of the mobile station 60 is executed. Therefore, the carrier wave is stopped at the soundless time, further, the frequency fluctuation of the mobile station can be suppressed. Thus, the allowable frequency fluctuation width of the channel can be set small and the effective use of the radio wave can be realized. |
