<p>PURPOSE:To supply sufficient power stably regardless of the season or the weather while eliminating the necessity of battery change by transmitting microwaves toward a power supply section and converting the microwaves into electric energy. CONSTITUTION:Power supply section 3 for transmission line relating machinery comprises an antenna 1 receiving microwaves transmitted from a remote place, and a rectifier 2 for converting the received microwave into a current. The rectifier 2 comprises a resonance circuit of inductor and capacitor, and a rectifier. A transmitter 4 transmits microwaves directly toward the antenna 1 as shown by arrows A. The microwaves received by the antenna 1 are converted through the resonance circuit into an electric signal which is rectified by the rectifier to produce a current component for feeding power to the transmission line relating machinery. Since power is fed by radio, power can be fed stably regardless of weather, e.g. snow or rain, while eliminating the necessity of battery change.</p> |
