PURPOSE:To easily grasp a position by using a low-cost paper atlas without using a high-cost electronic map display by a method wherein the position is displayed by using index information such as a page, a grid symbol or the like on an atlas instead of latitude and longitude. CONSTITUTION:The title display device is provided wish a means which inputs the latitude and the longitude of a position, with a means which holds map index information such as a page, grid information or the like on a map which has been divided along the latitude and the longitude, with means which computes the map index information corresponding to the latitude and the longitude and wish a means which displays the map index information. The title display device is constituted so as to display the map index information corresponding to the latitude and the longitude which have been input. |
