<p>PURPOSE:To emit an electron regardless of whether a potential difference between electrodes is positive or negative. CONSTITUTION:The first electrode 1 and the second electrode 2, which are formed in an approximately equal height, are arranged on a base plate 3, and they are insulated with each other by a micro clearance 4 between them. Basically, both of the electrodes have comb-shaped structure, in which continuous uneven shape parts are engaged with each other, in addition, they are shaped into saw shapes, in which wedge shapes are continuously arranged so that side edge parts of adjacent comb teeth parts are engaged with each other. An adjacent part of the projection tip of each of the electrodes becomes an electron emission part.</p> |
