OPTICAL INFORMATION CARRIER

摘要

PURPOSE: To obtain an optical information carrier which is readable and erasable and is capable of writing in with small laser energy by improving write sensitivity. CONSTITUTION: A laminated body having a transparent substrate 1 with a servotrack, at least one recording layer 9 consisting of a phase transition material and at least one reflecting layer 13 consisting of a metal is provided. The laminated body 3 has at least one auxiliary layer and light absorbing characteristics of the auxiliary layer are of reversible temp. dependency and light absorbing ratio of the auxiliary layer is made zero or nearly zero at a temp. below 70 deg.C and light absorbing ratio of the auxiliary layer, accordingly light absorbing ratio of the laminated body is made to increase remarkably at a temp. above 70 deg.C.
