PURPOSE:To provide an image forming device capable of easily matching gradation characteristics between an image input device and a printer and obtaining improved printed images in the image forming device for which the image input device and the printer are connected to a CPU. CONSTITUTION:Reference data for each gradation number with a fixed gap stored in a reference data storage part 15 in the CPU 1 are printed by the printer 2 and the image of the printed output is picked up by the image input device 3. The image-pickedup R, G and B signals are interpolated and compared with the reference data and conversion data are generated. The conversion data are stored in a conversion data storage part 23 in the printer 2. At the time of picking up the image of an object by the image input device 3 and printing it by the printer 2, the image-pickedup R, G and B signals are converted and printed based on the conversion data stored in the conversion data storage part 23. |
