PURPOSE:To allow downsizing and cost reduction of a probe including jig while ensuring sufficient waterproofness. CONSTITUTION:In an ultrasonic probe wherein a sensor section 22 for transmitting/receiving ultrasonic wave is contained in a case 24 while a cable 25 is inserted through a cable insertion hole 24d, made through the side wall 24c of the case 24, into the case 24 and connected with the sensor section 22 and the case 24 is coupled through a position fixing jig 32 with a scanning mechanism 33, the ultrasonic probe is provided with a tubular guide section 24e formed on the side wall 24c while having internal cable insertion hole 24d, a flexible tube 27 covering at least the outer peripheral face 24e' of the guide section 24e and the outer peripheral face 25b of the cable 25 exposed from the guide section 24e by a predetermined length, and holders 28a, 28b secured to the jig 32 and holding the tube 27 between the outer peripheral face 24e' of the guide section 24e. |
