PURPOSE:To decrease the produced amount of ozone by providing a developing voltage and switching signal generating means. CONSTITUTION:A power source device 11 for electrostatic charging which is connected to an electrostatic charging means 3 is formed into an output current switching type, and a power source device 12 for developing which is connected to a developing means 5 is formed into an output voltage switching type. Then, an electrostatic charging current setting means 25, an electrostatic charging current switching signal generation means 21 outputting a signal for switching the output current of the device 11 so that it may be the electrostatic charging current set by the means 25, and the developing voltage switching signal generation means 21 outputting a developing voltage switching signal for setting the output voltage of the device 12 to a value corresponding to the increase/decrease of the electrostatic charging current value set by the means 25 are provided. |
