PURPOSE:To provide a production control system supported by a computer which attains the unitary development and control of production techniques including an off-line teaching technique of an industrial robot. CONSTITUTION:Three sections A, B and C are connected together by a digital communication network 1, and the product data stored in a data base 2 of the section A are processed by a terminal A. The section A includes a simulation system 6 and a general-purpose CAD system 8. The equipments are designed by the system 8 and the rough off-line teaching, etc., are carried out by a system 6. The detailed off-line teaching result acquired by a simulation system 10 of the section B is stored in a file 10a and also transferred to the system 6 at need. A cell control computer 12 of the section C controls the relevant robot according to the teaching program sent from the system 10. |
