PURPOSE:To eliminate an installation space of an AC adapter without increasing a profile size of an apparatus and to cope with an unexpected state at the time of using the adapter. CONSTITUTION:A power source containing space 6 is provided in a personal computer body 7. A power supply pack 1 and a battery pack 5 are formed in the same shape so as to be mounted in the space 6, and have mounting and function interchangeability. An AC/DC converter 2 and a small capacity battery 3 are mounted in the pack 1, a DC power can be supplied from both a DC output terminal 8a and a GND terminal 8b, and when a state in which an AC power source cannot be supplied happens, a DC power source can be supplied from the battery 3.
