In a machanism for a windscreen wiper arrangement, two driving rods (5, 10) are driven by one motor crank (1) for driving two wiper arms. In order to place the driving forces of both rods in a single plane and thus save space, both bearings are concentrically nested into each other. Advantageous developments deal with the association of the individual bearing elements to the driving elements and with the design or the bearing surfaces.
