DERIVATIVES OF CYCLODEPSIPEPTIDE PF 1022

Novel PF 1022 derivatives - cyclodepsipeptides represented by the below-described formula (I) - and acid addition salts thereof, which have been synthesized according to the present invention, have anthelmintic activities against various parasitic worms which are parasitic on human bodies, domestic animals and pet animals. They are therefore useful as anthelmintics for the prevention or treatment of parasitic infections. Formula (I): <IMG> (I) wherein R1, R2, R3 and R4 each independently represents an alkyl group, a cyclohexylmethyl group, a benzyl group, a substituted benzyl group or others; and X, Y, Z and Q are each a methyl group or a hydrogen, provided that there does not occur such a case where R1, R3, X, Y, Z and Q each represent a methyl group while R2 and R4 each stand for a benzyl group at the same time.
