The invention relates to an adjusting device for a tilt-and-slide roof, the panel of which can be moved in a sliding manner between a closed and an open position with respect to a roof opening, conveying carriages for the panel being guided in a displaceable manner on the guide rails which are arranged on both sides of the roof opening. The adjusting device is designed such that it is independent of the size, weight and structure of the panel and ensures easy opening and firm closure of the tilt-and-slide roof by virtue of the fact that a deploying lever (3) is, on the one hand, mounted on the conveying carriage (2) such that it can rotate about a bearing point (9) and, on the other hand, on a connecting element (7) such that it can rotate about a coupling point (8), and is connected to the panel via a likewise rotatably mounted intermediate lever, the conveying carriage (2) and the connecting element (7) being movable relative to each other. <IMAGE>
