The invention relates to a pump which, with the simplest and most compact structure, ensures the leak testing of the pressure valve (5) both outside and inside the pump housing (8), which ensures the simple interchangeability of individual components, e.g. the pressure valve (5) or the valve seat body (2) when necessary, if a leak is detected during the testing process. To this end the outside surface of the valve seat body (2) facing the cover (1) has a conical chamfer (3) on which an annular projection (4) of the cover can be fitted to form a seal and radially expanded into an interference fit.
