For an adjusting device, especially in intake air guides of internal combustion engines, with a mechanically and electrically controllable throttle valve, it is proposed, in order to avoid elastic intermediate elements in a drive connection, that the shaft fixed to the throttle valve be movably supported in a hollow shaft and that the said hollow shaft be mechanically and arbitrarily controllable, an electrical, controllable servomotor on the reaction moment side being rotationally fixed by way of its housing to the hollow shaft and the rotor of the servomotor driving the throttle valve shaft. In a hollow shaft coaxially enclosing the throttle valve shaft over its entire length, the said hollow shaft has slots through which the throttle valve passes, each of a width which corresponds to a predetermined swivel range of the throttle valve relative to the hollow shaft.
