Spacer frame for an insulating pane, and device for the production thereof

A spacer frame for an insulating pane comprises a hollow profile bar which is provided with mitre cutouts at the locations corresponding to the frame corners and is obtained by bending the remaining outer wall at the mitre cutouts, is coated with a sealing composition on its side walls, is provided with air-passage openings on its inner wall, and is filled with a drying agent. The hollow profile bar is formed by an extruded profile, of which the inner wall projects beyond the side walls, in doing so forming longitudinal webs. The outer wall is provided with two outwardly projecting longitudinal webs running towards one another. The sealing composition on the side walls is curved convexly outwards in cross-section. The free ends of the frame are connected to one another by a connecting piece which engages into the frame ends. The drying agent is introduced into the continuous interior cavity of the frame through an opening in said frame.
