PURPOSE:To increase preciseness in control for combustion gas charge to each zone of a heating furnace, by stretching the steel hoop at the offtake of each zone through which the hoop passes, and by measuring the temp. of the hoop at the inlet and the outlet, and at each offtake. CONSTITUTION:A tension rollers 53 is installed one at each of offtakes 122, 132 provided respectively at plural zones 12-14 of a heating furnace which heat steel hoops, i.e., a material for butt-welded pipes. The hoop is stretched by use of the tension roller 53 and snap rollers 51, 52 placed side by side with the tension roller 53. Thermometers 64, 65 etc. are equipped at the inlet and the outlet of the heating furnace and between the tension roller 53 and the shap roller 51 in order to measure the temp. of the hoop. The measured value of the temp. is inputted to an operator 66, and the difference of temps. measured at neighboring two positions is compared with the value at a temp. difference setting 67, then the output of the setting 67 is inputted to a heat quantity controller 68. The output of the heat quantity controller 68 is inputted to an air controller 71 and fuel controller 69 in order to control suitably the fuel gas quantity, which is to be fed to the zone 13 etc., and the air-fuel ratio of the fuel gas correctly. |
