In order to allow electronic systems (such as a computer-operated actuating mechanism system, for example) in distribution racks to be equipped or reequipped in a simple manner with overvoltage protective devices, these devices consist of a plug-in printed circuit board which is arranged between two side walls (63, 64) and is surrounded by a transparent covering flap (65). Metal retaining sheets (66, 67) are used to fix the overvoltage protective elements on disconnecting blade terminals which are fitted onto a rail-like load-bearing element (4). These metal retaining sheets (66, 67) engage on one side behind the respective disconnecting blade terminal block (5) and on the other side are latched to the front edge of the side walls. <IMAGE>
