Method for the synthesis of 2-aminoethanosulphonic acid and its pharmacological products.

The synthetic production method of 2-aminoethanosulfonic acid is based on the effect of 2-substituted sodium sulphide ethylamine in water solution followed by isolation of the final product from the inorganic salts formed by a system of electrodialysis. The difference between this and known methods is the use of ethanolamine as an initialising material, followed by action of dense sulphuric acid and sodium sulphide in a heated water solution. Pharmaceutical products of the above stated substance in varying pharmaceutical technical forms, mainly liquid, were used for treating ophthalmic as well as cardiac conditions.
