<p>PURPOSE:To take out the undissolved fuel cladding pipes in a loading cage in a compact shape by means of a circular dissolving vessel, a lifting device which puts the fuel loading cage in and out of the dissolving vessel and loading cage guide rails of a prescribed shape provided on the outside of the dissolving vessel. CONSTITUTION:A device for taking out the undissolved fuel cladding pipes consisting of the fuel loading cage lifting device 1, the guide rails 3, an undissolved fuel cladding pipe throw port 7 and a circumferential moving mechanism 10 is installed to the upper part of the dissolving vessel section consisting of a body side plate 4, a dissolution treating liquid 5, a water tank 6, an annular frame 8 for hanging the fuel loading cages and a rotational driving device 9 which moves the frame 8 in a circumferential direction. The loading cage 2 is positioned at the start point of the guide rails 3 and is moved along the rails 3 by the circumferential moving mechanism 10. The loading cage is then turned over by utilizing the shape of the guide rails and the undissolved fuel cladding pipes are delivered to the throw port 7.</p> |
