A separator for impurities, consisting of internal tanks for separated impurities, whereas those tanks include outlet flaps, characterized in that a pipeline (1) is located coaxially with and inside the external impurity tanks (6), whereas that pipeline conducts the gas and/or liquid stream to be purified, whereas the pipeline is fitted with at least one slot-type sieve (3, 4), whereas the sieve plane is preferably at right angle with relation to the pipeline axis, whereas the separator is divided in segments by the sieve (3, 4) or by the sieves, whereas those segments are connected with the impurity tanks (6) through slots (5) in the pipeline wall or between the pipeline wall and the sieve, whereas the slot-type sieve (3, 4) includes slots created by triangle pieces bent off the sieve plane on both plane sides, and the bend directions of triangles in sieve's neighbouring apertures differ by 90 degrees from each other.<IMAGE>
