The invention relates to suction tubing for removing fluid from the body during an operation or a corresponding procedure and to a method for manufacturing flexible bellows 5 for the suction tubing. For easier handling, the suction tubing according to the invention contains tube sections 4 with flexural rigidity and elastic flexible bellows 5 with which the tube sections 4 have been joined together, and which are stabilized in a U-shape so that the suction tubing will have a spring- like tendency to take on a zigzag form, wherein the tube sections 4 are substantially parallel. In the method relating to the invention flexible bellows 5 are formed into a tube section 4 with flexural rigidity with the help of heat and pressure, after which the bellows 5 are bent into a U-shape and stabilized with the help of heat. <IMAGE>
