PURPOSE:To improve the plastic processing property, by forming an active material of a polymer with repeating units of N,N,N', and N'-tetraphenyl-p- phenylenediamine structure shown as a specific formula. CONSTITUTION:A polymer with repeating units of N,N,N', and N'-tetraphenyl-p- phenelenediamine structure shown in the formula I ( where R and R' are an H, a low class alkyl radical, or a low class alcoxyl radical) and combined each other at the positions A and B in the formula is used. This polymer uses a nickel compound or the like as a catalyst, and made in a nonreaction type solvent depending on the formula II (where R, and R' are the same as the formula I, and X is a halogen atom). As the nonreaction solvent, ethylether, tetrahydrofuran, or the like is used. This polymer has a high conductivity because electron receiving substances such as iodine, arcenicpentafluoride, and aluminum chloride are doped, and a conductive high polymer is produced to maintain a stable conductivity even in the presense of the air. |
