PRODUCTION OF CATALYST FOR PURIFICATION OF EXHAUST GAS

摘要

PURPOSE:To enlarge the active temp. range of NOx purification in an exhaust gas system such as a lean-burn engine of auotomobile. CONSTITUTION:A catalyst material is prepared by wash-coating a honeycomb carrier with pentacyl zeolite ZSM-5 as a metal-contg. silicate carrying Pt and Ir as a noble metal active element. The catalyst material is dried, fired and aged in a N2 gas atmosphere at 800 deg.C for 25 hours.
