PURPOSE:To enable control of operations of air conditioner groups from a plurality of places by a method wherein a function of controlling the operation of each air conditioner is provided also in a centralized control device in the same way as in a central monitoring panel of a building. CONSTITUTION:When a centralized control device 2 receives information on control from a central monitoring panel 1 of a building, the content of the information on control is analyzed by a control part 4 and compared with information on control in a storage device 5, and only when the analyzed information differs from the information in this device, the received information on control is transmitted to gate ways 12a and l2b, while the information on control in the storage device 5 is updated. Meanwhile, information on operations of discrete indoor machines 22a1, 22a2, 22a3 and 22b in air conditioner groups 19a and 19b which is transmitted to the centralized control device 2 through the gate ways 12a and 12b is stored in the storage device 5 and also transmitted to the central monitoring panel 1 of the building. Based on this information on operations, besides, the control part 4 makes a display part 8 display the states of operations of the indoor machines 22a1, 22a2, 22a3 and 22b. According to this constitution, operations of the air conditioner groups 19a and l9b can be controlled from a plurality of places.
